Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js)

Our Applications business unit focuses on delivering a suite of advanced communication tools designed to enhance customer engagement. From cloud contact centers to feature-rich unified communications solutions, our Applications team is dedicated to providing businesses with the tools they need to streamline operations and improve customer experiences.

Why this role matters:

In this role, you will focus on building new, scalable features from the ground up. While we value full-stack capability, your primary impact will be in Backend Engineering using Node.js, Nest.js and TypeScript. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Serving as a key contributor to our core engineering team, focused on the development and enhancement of our SAAS technology platform.
• Having an end-to-end ownership of core microservices and codebase, encompassing architecture, development, and deployment.
• Leading the end-to-end development of features, working closely with the product manager, to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.
• Engaging in our Agile, delivery-focused development process to efficiently meet project goals and deadlines.
• Developing tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

What you'll bring

Required:

• 2-6 years of experience as a Backend or Full-stack developer
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript on Node.JS and Nest.JS
• Proficiency with cloud technology and services such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and Queues/Streams (Redis Streams, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Prior experience working on data-intensive products and applications, demonstrating a strong understanding of data-driven development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field

Experience we consider a plus:

• Python knowledge
• Strong coding skills in React framework
• Hands-on experience with microservice-must, mono repo
