The Solutions Business Development Representative (BDR) is a strategic, consultative sales development role focused on identifying business problems, mapping solutions, and creating qualified opportunities within Fortune 500 enterprise accounts. Unlike traditional high-volume SDR roles, this position requires deep technical knowledge of APIs, Healthcare industry expertise, and a consultative selling approach to drive network-powered solutions revenue and enterprise penetration.

We are growing rapidly and we expect our BDRs to grow to more senior positions across the organization as we gain experience and achieve higher levels of performance.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Execute strategic, research-driven outbound prospecting through phone/video calls, emails, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other channels, delivering 30-50 highly personalized touches per day to Fortune 500 enterprises and key decision-makers.
  • Discover and develop new leads through creative internet research, social media monitoring, and CRM-documented outreach to build a qualified, measurable pipeline.
  • Lead multi-call consultative discovery processes that assess both business and technical requirements, qualifying opportunities based on solution fit, ROI, stakeholder mapping, and technical environment.
  • Create Healthcare industry-specific messaging and use-case-driven outreach with quantified business impact.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Vonage's API product suites — specifically our Video API — to accurately qualify prospects and articulate technical capabilities and competitive differentiation.
  • Deliver fully sales-ready opportunities with comprehensive profiles (use case details, technical environment, business context, and stakeholder maps) that enable Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to move directly to solution design.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, and Account Managers in a collaborative team-selling model, supporting opportunity transitions and maintaining engagement for continuity post-handoff.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Leadership to optimize performance, support marketing campaigns, and provide active market intelligence including competitive insights and feature gap feedback.

What you’ll bring:

Required:

  • 2+ years of Sales Development / Lead generation and or sales experience in B2B environments, especially in the software industry
  • Experience targeting the Healthcare vertical 
  • Proven track record of consultative selling and complex opportunity qualification
  • Self Motivated and Self Organized with the ability to make things happen without supervision or tight control
  • Salesforce, Gong, Linkedin, LinkedIn Sales Nav Sales engagement tools (like Gong Engage and Outreach), zoominfo, Gen AI Tools, and 6sense experience 
  • Outbound experience targeting Mid-Market and Enterprise companies

Where you will work:

This position offers a fully remote work arrangement based out of the United States.

Sponsorship is not available. Legal authorization to work in the USA is required. We are unable to sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. 

This is an hourly role and would be part of our Commission Compensation structure. The overall compensation would be based on a 70/30 split.
