The role:
Vow is hiring for an Inventory Associate. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of Vow’s operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods across our facilities. From receiving and storing materials to coordinating internal transfers and outward shipments, you’ll take ownership of every step in the supply chain to keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly. With a keen focus on quality, compliance, and safety, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Vow’s rapid growth and mission to redefine the future of food.
The experience/skills you will bring:
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Some experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain roles.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it).
- Familiarity with inventory and procurement systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
You will:
- Manage goods inwards and storage:
- Receive, unpack, and store goods efficiently.
- Notify relevant team members of deliveries and update warehouse and procurement IT systems.
- Coordinate internal goods movement:
- Facilitate transfers between factories and storage locations.
- Retrieve and stage goods for manufacturing.
- Oversee goods outwards:
- Prepare, package, and coordinate shipments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and system updates.
- Ensure quality and compliance:
- Verify incoming materials and perform quality checks (e.g., temperature, packaging).
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and compliance with food safety systems.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and safety:
- Keep warehouse and outdoor areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Manage waste disposal and support health, safety, and environment standards.
- Perform stock management and ordering:
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory records.
- Reorder parts and manage consumables inventory.
What success looks like:
- 3 Months:
- Fully understand Vow’s inventory processes and systems.
- Establish routines for efficient goods handling and warehouse organization.
- 6 Months:
- Achieve measurable improvements in stock accuracy and compliance.
- Build strong collaboration with internal teams, streamlining goods movement.
- 12 Months:
- Maintain a highly organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
- Consistently deliver seamless inventory management, supporting Vow’s growth
