Sales & Event Marketing Coordinator
About us
Vow is a cultured meat company on a mission to feed billions and create food that’s good for your tastebuds, your health and your planet.
We’re bringing together cutting edge innovations in science, engineering, culinary and design to create new meats that meat lovers can choose selfishly because it’s nutritious and delicious, and we’re doing so in a sustainable way.
The role:
Let’s cut to the chase – this isn’t your typical marketing job. You won’t be stuck behind a screen churning out reports or tweaking ad copy. You’ll be out in the field (Singapore’s bustling F&B scene) getting Forged into the hands of chefs, pulling off unforgettable events, and giving people their first taste of the future of food. You’ll be the person who ensures that when people hear about Forged, they feel it, experience it, and want it on their menus.
For the uninitiated, Forged is a new, premium food brand redefining what meat can be. Using cell culturing, we create entirely new flavours, textures, and eating experiences – meats that don’t just imitate tradition but push beyond it. Think rich, decadent, and deliberately different. Already on the menus of Singapore’s most forward-thinking venues, Forged offers a new creative canvas for those who want to serve something truly extraordinary. It’s real meat, made in a new way. Forged, not farmed.
You can read about Forged in Vogue Singapore or Tatler Asia, or check out our recent collaboration with Two Men Bagel House in HungryGoWhere.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves bringing ideas to life, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty (sometimes literally – we move fast). If you love food, live for great experiences, and want to be part of something completely new, this is your chance.
The experience/skills you will bring:
- A natural hustler: You take initiative and make things happen fast, whether it’s launching a pop-up, managing events, or driving brand engagement. Maybe you’ve worked in F&B, hospitality, events, or brand activations – whatever it is, you know how to get things moving.
- A smooth operator: You thrive on bringing plans to life, juggling multiple moving parts while keeping a sharp eye on timelines and details. Your strong project management skills ensure that every activation, event, and customer touchpoint is executed seamlessly.
- People-first: You love meeting new people and can build relationships effortlessly – with chefs, restaurateurs, and event partners.
- Agile and adaptable: You can shift gears quickly, handling everything from face-to-face meetings with top chefs to setting up an activation that stops people in their tracks.
- Obsessed with food and innovation: You’re excited about the future of dining and want to be the one introducing people to something truly new.
- All about the details: You know that the little things – how we show up at an event, how a tasting is presented – make the biggest impact.
You will:
- Make activations unforgettable: Run in-person brand marketing efforts – from trade shows to tastings – to drive engagement and conversions.
- Turn chefs into customers: Work closely with the sales team to onboard new accounts, train staff, and ensure a seamless product rollout.
- Be everywhere: Assist in key meetings, deliver samples, and keep the momentum going with prospective customers.
- Bring back intel: Capture real-time insights from the market to help refine our strategy and execution.
What success looks like:
Within 3 months, you will:
- You know Forged inside and out—our mission, our product, and why it’s exciting.
- You’ve attended your first activations, engaging with customers and learning what makes a great event.
- You’ve shadowed sales meetings and understand how we bring new customers on board.
- You’ve started building a playbook for running activations like a pro.
Within 6 months, you will:
- You’re independently running smaller activations and playing a major role in larger events.
- You’ve built strong relationships with key industry players.
- You’ve helped onboard your first venues, ensuring a smooth rollout.
- You’re sharing insights that help refine how we activate and sell.
Within 12 months, you will:
- You’re running activations end-to-end, consistently generating leads and turning them into customers.
- You’ve built a strong pipeline of prospective venues through events and direct outreach.
- You’ve successfully onboarded multiple new accounts and contributed directly to revenue growth.
- Your insights and execution are shaping how we scale activations and customer acquisition in Singapore.
Who we are and why join:
- We are building a diverse, mission-led dream team of “Vowzers.” Our mission is to make food products for everyone. To do that well we need a workforce that’s representative of the people we serve. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view - so we’re building a culture to match. Be yourself and come as you are.
- Work on cutting-edge technology. We’re bringing together cutting-edge innovations in science, engineering, and food, to recreate the world’s most tantalising and unique culinary experiences. All without compromising on ethics or our planet along the way. Since our inception in 2019, we have held the title of being the first startup to cultivate meat from the cells of an undomesticated animal, been called The Spaceship of the cultured meat industry by Forbes and launched our first product under the brand Forged in some of the hottest restaurants in Singapore.
- Work with and learn from the best. Our team includes some of the world’s top scientists, innovators, operators, and creatives with decades of industry experience. Despite our experiences though, we all strive to build, break, learn, and repeat. We see the impossible as temporary and strive to learn and support our company and fellow Vowzers' growth as much as possible.
- We’re fully funded and ready to go. We are a growing Aussie biotech start-up backed by Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg Capital, Grok Ventures, Tenacious Ventures, P7 Ventures, Toyota Ventures, and PeakBridge VC.
