Sr. Account Executive

Role Summary

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and expansion of enterprise-level client accounts within the franchise space. This role manages the complete sales cycle for complex, high-value opportunities, develops strategic account plans, and serves as a key relationship manager for assigned accounts. The position requires independent execution of sales strategies while contributing to team goals and mentoring junior sales staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Sales Execution 

  • Manage full sales cycle for enterprise accounts from lead qualification through contract execution and handoff
  • Achieve assigned sales quota annually through new business acquisition and account expansion
  • Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities valued at 3X to 4X% of quarterly quota
  • Conduct needs analysis, product demonstrations, and solution presentations to C-level and VP-level stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts averaging $100,000+ in annual value
  • Utilize Hubspot to track all sales activities, opportunities, and maintain forecast accuracy of 90-95%
  • Execute prospecting activities per week including cold calls, emails, and social selling

Leadership and Collaboration 

  • Participate in sales team meetings, pipeline reviews, and forecast calls
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign development and lead generation initiatives
  • Provide product feedback to Product Management based on market needs and competitive intelligence
  • Contribute to development and refinement of sales processes, playbooks, and best practices

Professional Development and Reporting 

  • Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, and value propositions
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities
  • Complete required training on sales methodology, product updates, and compliance requirements
  • Submit accurate weekly forecasts
  • Prepare and present business results in regular pipeline and performance review meetings

Experience

  • 5-7+ years B2B enterprise sales experience
  • 3-5+ years selling deals valued at $100K+
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ quota attainment
  • Experience selling into Multi-location and/or franchised brands a plus

Key Skills:

  • Consultative and solution-based selling
  • C-level relationship building and executive presence
  • Complex sales cycle and pipeline management
  • Contract negotiation and deal structuring
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Google Office Suite and virtual presentation tools
  • Data analysis for forecasting and reporting
