About the Role
We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Generalist to serve as the supporting administrator and functional expert for our NetSuite ERP environment. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and optimization of NetSuite across multiple business functions, including finance, inventory, order management, procurement, and CRM. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who can translate business needs into system solutions while maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Configuration
- Serve as the primary NetSuite administrator, managing user access, roles, permissions, and security protocols.
- Configure and maintain custom records, fields, forms, workflows, saved searches, and dashboards to support evolving business requirements.
- Manage SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteScript customizations, and scheduled scripts to automate business processes.
- Oversee sandbox and production environment management, including bundle deployment and release coordination.
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to understand requirements and implement NetSuite solutions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring accurate system data and reporting.
- Configure and maintain inventory management, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay workflows.
- Manage CRM functionality including lead tracking, opportunity management, and customer record maintenance.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain saved searches, reports, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders across the organization.
- Develop and deliver ad hoc reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all modules through regular audits and reconciliation.
Integration & Data Management
- Manage integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (e-commerce platforms, shipping providers, payment processors, etc.) using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or middleware tools.
- Oversee data imports, exports, migrations, and cleansing efforts using CSV imports, SuiteAnalytics, or integration tools.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support, creating documentation and guides as needed.
- Stay current with NetSuite releases and evaluate new features for potential adoption.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve system utilization.
- Manage relationships with NetSuite support and third-party consultants as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing and administering NetSuite ERP.
- Demonstrated experience configuring NetSuite modules across two or more functional areas (e.g., Financial Management, Inventory/Warehouse, Order Management, CRM, Procurement).
- Proficiency with saved searches, custom records, workflows (SuiteFlow), and role/permission management.
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript (1.0 or 2.0) and the ability to read, troubleshoot, and make minor modifications to scripts.
- Strong understanding of core business processes in finance, operations, or supply chain.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
- NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certification.
- Experience with SuiteCommerce, SuiteAnalytics Connect, or Advanced Revenue Management.
- Familiarity with integration middleware platforms (Celigo, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar).
- Experience managing NetSuite in a multi-subsidiary or multi-currency environment.
- Background in business analysis, accounting, or operations management.
- Experience leading or participating in a NetSuite implementation or major upgrade project.
The good faith base salary range for this role is $105,000-$115,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
