Deficiency Specialist

VSC Fire & Security in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking candidates for the position of Deficiency Specialist.

What you need:
- One to three (1-3) years of industry related work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with local and national fire codes and regulations, such as NFPA standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze deficiencies and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Eagerness for professional development and growth.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Desirable (but not required):
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Experience in conducting inspections or assessments of fire protection systems.
What you will do:
- Responsible for administrative and accounting tasks for managers and department staff.
- Responding to telephone inquiries, develop quotes, project and contract processing, accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable and collections. May also handle purchasing and receiving procedures.
- Supports division or department sales activities as needed.
