Events Coordinator

Chicago, Illinois; Manhattan, New York; Miami, Florida

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and creative Events Coordinator to help us bring the VTEX brand to life across diverse marketing and branded events in North America. This role is critical in executing small and large-scale events that serve our two key ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles): B2B/Industrial and Omnichannel + Grocery.
You will play a transversal role, supporting the GTM (go-to-market) efforts across both verticals, while also bringing fresh ideas that resonate with our audience, drive engagement, and generate pipeline opportunities.

*For this position you are required to attend the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday), and remote work on Friday.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Event Execution: Plan and execute branded and third-party events, including trade shows, executive dinners, summits, and webinars, ensuring a seamless experience from logistics to post-event reporting.
  • Cross-ICP Support: Align event strategy and execution across both ICPs—B2B/Industrial and Omnichannel + Grocery—working closely with sales, field marketing, and content teams.
  • Third-Party Events: Own booth design, sponsorship packages, asset creation, shipping, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Branded Experiences: Bring creative thinking to VTEX-hosted activations such as roundtables, dinners, pop-ups, and customer showcases.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and leadership to tailor events to pipeline and brand goals.
  • Innovation & Ideas: Be proactive in suggesting new formats and opportunities that connect with our ICPs and elevate our presence in the market.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Ensure cost-effective execution, negotiating with vendors and managing multiple event budgets.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Track KPIs and ROI per event, gather feedback, and optimize future execution.

Who you are

  • 2–4 years of experience in event planning, field marketing, or experiential marketing, preferably in B2B/SaaS.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B buyer journey and marketing funnel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creative thinker who’s not afraid to take risks and propose unconventional ideas.
  • Experience coordinating with sales and marketing teams across geographies.
