Equity Ops Analyst
We are looking for an Equity Operations Analyst to join our team and focus on the day-to-day operations of our Equity programs. This person will be responsible for executing end-to-end equity processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, aligning with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting governance and automation initiatives.
- Own daily Equity operations, executing end-to-end processes (e.g., RSU releases, stock option exercises, terminations, monthly closing) with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage data across equity platforms (e.g., E*Trade, Carta), HRIS (e.g., HiBob), and internal dashboards, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Act as the first operational point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders (Payroll, Finance, Legal) regarding equity-related requests.
- Coordinate execution with external vendors (brokers, equity administrators) for daily operations and exception handling.
- Draft, maintain, and improve operational process documentation (FAQs, SOPs, checklists, offboarding guidelines).
- Support the PMO during quarterly equity grant cycles, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports to ensure audit readiness and compliance (SOx walkthroughs, reconciliation reports).
- Contribute to cross-functional projects related to global equity taxation, reporting, and process automation.
- Someone with a complete degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience with equity operations (stock options, RSUs, phantom options) — ideally in a public company.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF statements, logic-based formulas).
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data and critical transactions.
- Discipline in executing operational processes with structured self-review to avoid errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a strong plus.
- Experience with equity platforms (e.g., E*Trade, Carta) and HR/payroll systems (HiBob, Workday, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong skills in process documentation and workflow mapping are highly valued.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
