International Controllership Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an International Controllership Analyst, you will be part of the International Controllership area. As part of the team, you will:

  • Actively participate in the accounting closing process, mainly analyzing intercompany transactions, costs & expenses, revenue, fixed assets, and other balance sheet areas;
  • Explain and provide insights on variations in results and changes that occurred during the period;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose corrective actions to ensure efficiency and accuracy;
  • Ensure SOX compliance in accordance with established internal flows and controls;
  • Support internal and external audit processes, preparing documentation and clarifications as needed;
  • Collaborate and communicate with different internal areas to optimize processes and ensure alignment with global standards.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The International Controllership team of VTEX is responsible for preparing USGAAP accounting and managing local GAAP accounting of all the VTEX entities outside Brazil; local audits in some countries; and improving processes that may impact the VTEX financial statements.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You graduated in accounting, business administration, economics, production engineering, or related areas;
  • You must be experienced at least 4-5 years in finance (including internship time);
  • You must have initiative and proactivity, organization, good problem-solving ability,  a teamwork spirit, and an interest in learning new tools;
  • You might have international accounting standards knowledge;
  • You might have international experience - is a differential;
  • You must have Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets;
  • You must be able to communicate in Advanced English (Spanish would be a differential);
  • Having familiarity or interest in automation tools such as PowerBi or SQL is a plus.
