
Account Executive
VTS is looking for an intelligent, self-motivated sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive in our New York office. Our account executives are hard-working, coachable, curious, and adaptable, and they take a process-oriented approach to closing new business. As an Account Executive at VTS, you’ll drive revenue growth by selling our full suite of products across an expansive territory and multiple commercial real estate asset classes. You’ll have the opportunity to build and own a book of business, cultivating new client relationships while driving long-term value through strategic upselling and expansion.
To thrive in this role you must be driven, and possess an eagerness to learn. A high level of accountability towards a quality work product. You value collaboration, engaging cross-functional partners to solve challenges to ensure the best strategy is applied to the client. You should possess a natural curiosity and desire to understand the business, customer insights, and CRE industry.
** Please note that this opportunity is located in New York, NY, and requires this hire to work from our office four days a week. **
Here’s what you can expect as an Account Executive:
- Help bring Commercial Real Estate into the 21st Century - mapping mid-market customers’ key issues to our solution
- Become an expert on the VTS product suite and value proposition
- Present to C-level executives on the value of the VTS solution through product demonstrations in person and via web tools
- Represent VTS and evangelize our vision through in-market events, industry groups, and CRE specific initiatives
- Prospect, nurture, and close new business
- Accurately forecast and execute on quarterly revenue targets
- Negotiate pricing and sales contracts to close new business while navigating multiple decision makers
- Work closely with sales, account management, and customer support teams to ensure our customers are successful
- Form relationships with senior decision makers, asset managers, and brokers at the top commercial real estate firms across the country, with some travel expected (approximately once a month) to meet with clients in-person
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Experience in a new logo sales role within PropTech, Commercial Real Estate, or B2B SaaS
- Skilled at pipeline generation—confidence in cold calling, social selling, and leveraging referrals to drive top-of-funnel activity
- Proven track record of closing complex deals with large buying committees including multiple personas
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to resonate with C-level executives
- Process-driven approach to sales, with strong CRM discipline and experience running structured deal cycles

Pay Transparency
At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between $90,000 and $110,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography.
