Sales Engineer - Israel

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel
Team: Sales Engineering
Employment Type: Full-Time

About VulnCheck

Exploitation prevention is only as strong as the intelligence driving those efforts, and most of the industry is still running on intelligence that lacks exploit context. VulnCheck, The Exploit Intelligence Company, delivers structured exploit intelligence on what is actively weaponized in the wild, purpose-built for the data lakes, ETL pipelines, automation, and AI and LLM workflows your infrastructure already runs on, raising the capability of everything it powers. VulnCheck's proprietary data is consumed directly by security teams and also licensed and integrated by other organizations — including enterprises, government agencies, and other cybersecurity vendors — into their own products and workflows.

About the Role

As VulnCheck's first Sales Engineer based in Israel, you'll play a critical role in demonstrating how VulnCheck intelligence enhances workflows for Cyber Vendor customers — partnering closely with your regional Sales Director to secure the technical win across large and small cyber product teams. You'll collaborate with prospects, customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver valuable solutions and drive business opportunities. This is a 100% remote role based in the Tel Aviv area.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers, including Product Managers, Security Researchers, Vulnerability Management leaders, Threat Intelligence teams, and SOC leaders.
  • Lead proof-of-value (PoV) engagements, ensuring successful technical validation of VulnCheck solutions across ASM, VM, and CTI use cases.
  • Support technology and reseller partner engagements alongside the regional Sales Director.
  • Influence product development by gathering customer feedback and advocating for feature requests and enhancements.
  • Provide technical consulting and customization to help customers integrate VulnCheck solutions into data platforms, vendor tools, and existing processes.
  • Train prospects and customers, troubleshoot PoV issues, and respond to product inquiries so customers can operate independently and confidently.
  • Develop custom scripts and troubleshoot performance issues related to VulnCheck components, including the API, data fidelity, and CLI/SDK.

Your Impact

Sales Engineers at VulnCheck are product experts, technical advisors, and customer advocates. You'll ensure VulnCheck solutions integrate seamlessly into customers' security environments while serving as the primary presales technical contact for the Israel region — guiding customers through adoption and integration, providing real-time technical support and strategic guidance, and helping manage the customer lifecycle for long-term success.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in the cybersecurity industry, ideally supporting cyber product/vendor customers.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity product landscape, with a focus on Attack Surface Management (ASM), Vulnerability Management (VM), or Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI).
  • Strong understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and SOC operations, including how vulnerability intelligence supports each function.
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts in Python; familiarity with Go is a plus.
  • Experience working with APIs and JSON.
  • Ability to build workflows in security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP, or similar tools.
  • Experience with mentorship responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working independently as the first SE hire in your region, with strong written and verbal English communication.
  • Existing relationships with Product Managers, CISOs, or cyber vendor leaders are a plus.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: This position may involve access to technology subject to U.S. export control regulations. Employment is contingent upon the company's ability to authorize access under applicable export control, sanctions, and any other applicable legal or contractual requirements. The company does not guarantee and is under no obligation to seek such authorization if it would be necessary.
