Join Vultr
Vultr is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to support our purchasing operations by analyzing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, procurement knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and value across the supply chain.
What to expect:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for savings.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing metrics, supplier performance, and spend analysis.
- Maintain and optimize procurement dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations.
Cost Optimization
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through spend analysis and supplier consolidation.
- Support negotiations with vendors by providing pricing benchmarks and historical data.
- Track and report realized savings from procurement initiatives.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Evaluate vendor performance using quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
- Support supplier onboarding, audits, and performance reviews.
- Maintain and update the preferred supplier list and contract database.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Support procurement process improvements and standardization across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, purchasing guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in enforcing contract terms and managing renewal timelines.
Documentation & Systems
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Work with ERP or procurement systems to extract data, automate reports, and streamline workflows.
Our new team member will need:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or sourcing.
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage large data sets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP).
- Experience in supplier negotiations or contract management.
- Experience working with data centers and/or cloud service providers.
