We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Cloud Compute to help shape, define, and advance the future of Vultr’s CPU-based infrastructure offerings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Vultr’s CPU-based compute platform, driving innovation across bare metal, virtualized, and multi-tenant infrastructure.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to benchmark performance, pricing, and feature differentiation in global cloud infrastructure markets.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing compute offerings for performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational simplicity.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to understand complex workload requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering to validate functionality, streamline provisioning, and reduce customer time-to-value.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define technical requirements, prioritize capabilities, and deliver scalable, high-performance compute services.
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM teams to enable seamless product launches, documentation, and technical positioning.
  • Leverage metrics, telemetry, and performance data to make data-driven roadmap and optimization decisions.
  • Champion infrastructure efficiency and automation initiatives, ensuring Vultr’s compute platform scales reliably and cost-effectively.
  • Assess emerging processor technologies, architectures, and configurations to guide future product direction.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years and extensive experience configuring, deploying, and managing CPU deployment
  • 5+ years of product management or related work experiences
  • History of driving product management requirements analysis and definition
  • Solid understanding of common enterprise and SMB technical and business requirements
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and keen experience to identify problems and proactively work toward solutions
  • Experience with effectively working with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, executives, engineering, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Track record of operating independently and taking initiative, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.

 

Compensation

$130,000 - $165,000

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
