Role
As a key member of Vultron, you will:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Coordinate with IT staff to ensure that security measures are integrated into system designs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Provide training and support on security protocols to staff.
- Prepare and present security status reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulators.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CISSP, CISM, or similar certification.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
- Proficient in using security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in risk management and incident response.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles and practices.
