Your opportunity   

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategy-driven Regional Vice President of Performance to drive the overall performance in their assigned market. The ideal candidate is an ownership-minded, forward-thinking, and resourceful leader with a deep understanding of value-based care, excellent relationship-building skills, a thirst for data and a knack for fostering collaboration to drive success in Vytalize’s value-based care contracts. 

This is a pivotal role, driving the success of your assigned market by strategically leveraging centralized resources, including the Population Health Operations, Medical Economics, Implementation, Medical Directors, and other teams to achieve quality and shared savings goals.  

Your contributions will be key in optimizing market performance through Vytalize’s resources, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. You will be the primary authority in your market, mastering every detail from contract terms to the delivery of Vytalize's value-based care products and services, maintaining key relationships, and managing all routine market activities related to quality and shared savings success. 

 

What you will do 

  • Develop and implement both innovative and proven market strategies, ensuring they are aligned with our organizational objectives in value-based care. 
  • Monitor and report the financial performance of the assigned market, focusing on sustained growth and shared savings. 
  • Identify and roll out initiatives for continuous improvement to optimize provider engagement and transformation within the ACO. 
  • Coordinate closely with Population Health and Implementation teams, guaranteeing smooth practice onboarding and optimal value-based care delivery. 
  • Act as the primary liaison for leadership teams of associated practices, managing internal collaborations to align efforts and optimize performance across business units. 
  • Exhibit executive presence with practice c-suite level, clients, and internal leadership and team. 
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors and various stakeholders to facilitate effective implementation and execution of our value-based care model. 
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with local providers, steering them towards alignment with our value-based initiatives. 
  • Utilize analytics and insights to evaluate and optimize market performance and operational strategies continuously. 
  • Expand our organizational influence by connecting with local health systems, payers, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Develop and mentor the local team to ensure readiness and alignment with market and organizational goals. 
  • Use analytics and medical economic insights to make informed decisions, identify enhancement opportunities, and realize shared savings and high-quality patient outcomes. 
  • Launch and manage improvement initiatives based on performance data and analytical insights to heighten operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Ensure clear, efficient organizational structure and information flow to facilitate quick decision-making and effective execution of strategies. 
  • Develop strategic roadmaps with clear sprints for improvement, conduct internal benchmarking for performance measurement, and create personalized strategies that can be standardized into playbooks. 

 

What will make you successful here 

  • A passion for driving patient outcomes and improving communities 
  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Masters degree is preferred but not required 
  • Have a minimum of 10 years leadership experience in healthcare, focusing on value-based care operating roles at fast-paced organizations. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective healthcare strategies. 
  • Has held P&L ownership or financial performance of an assigned market in a  value-based care role. 
  • Possess deep knowledge of value-based care, population health operations, and solid understanding of medical economics. 
  • Exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, proficient in using analytics for decision-making. Experience with Tableau a plus. 
  • Have exceptional relationship-building and networking skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. 
  • Display outstanding leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to align team efforts and optimize performance. 
  • Able to communicate complex information clearly and efficiently and solve problems innovatively. 
  • Willing to travel  
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
