Position Overview:
Walleye Capital is seeking Investment Analytics Interns for Summer 2026. As an intern, you'll work on high-impact, data-driven projects at the intersection of finance, technology, and communication. You'll gain exposure to real-world hedge fund data and investor relations through cross-functional collaboration with a dynamic team. Throughout the program, you may conduct research to develop insights for investor materials, leverage generative AI to streamline workflows, or support automation initiatives.
The internship is 10 weeks in length and will take place in New York City from June to August 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Support the analysis and interpretation of financial data, portfolio performance, and market trends for use in investor communications.
- Collaborate with investment, IR, and risk teams to streamline existing processes and further automate workflows.
- Help respond to investor requests, using data to craft clear messaging.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance internal analytics, reporting processes, or investor deliverables.
- Own a focused project to design and deliver a tool, dashboard, or report that improves internal processes or enhances the investor experience.
We seek individuals who:
- Are pursuing an undergraduate or non-MBA master’s degree in any field of study, though coursework in computer science or mathematical modeling is a must, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and keen attention to detail.
- Communicate ideas clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
- Are self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrive in a collaborative culture that values intellectual humility, creativity, and continuous learning.
Pay Range:
The expected monthly pay for this position is $12,000/month. Interns will also receive a $10,000 housing stipend and transportation to and from New York City.
