Position Overview:
Walleye Capital is seeking intellectually curious and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Fundamental Equities Interns for Summer 2026. This immersive internship offers an opportunity to work alongside seasoned investment professionals in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. As an intern, you’ll play a meaningful role in the investment process—conducting deep-dive research, analyzing company fundamentals, and helping shape high-conviction investment ideas. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the tools, techniques, and thinking that drive real investment decisions while developing the skills and insight to launch a career in investing. The internship is 10 weeks in length and will take place in New York City from June to August 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental research on public companies across a sector or range of sectors.
- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other key disclosures; participate in building and updating financial models to evaluate valuation and investment potential.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and news flow impacting stocks.
- Support the development of investment theses and participate in team meetings, investment discussions, and idea generation sessions.
- Collaborate with analysts and portfolio managers to assess risks and opportunities.
We seek individuals who:
- Are pursuing an undergraduate or non-MBA master’s degree in any field of study, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (including proficiency with Excel), keen attention to detail, and a genuine interest in financial markets.
- Communicate ideas clearly and effectively, while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
- Are self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrive in a collaborative culture that values intellectual humility, creativity, and continuous learning.
Pay Range:
The expected monthly pay for this position is $14,000/month. Interns will also receive a $10,000 housing stipend and transportation to and from New York City.
