Remote (East Coast preferred)

Wall Street Prep — Director of Growth (Certificates)

Role: Director of Growth (Certificates)

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Remote (East Coast preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We’re seeking a Director of Growth (Certificates) to lead strategy and execution for our fastest-growing business line — our certificate programs.

Your job is to hit the revenue numbers targets and continue to drive down CAC through non-traditional PPC channels. You will do so by:

  • Driving acquisition across the entire funnel with a focus on high quality top of the funnel focus.
  • Using data to optimize every point in the funnel
  • Building high performing teams and influencing cross the org
  • Building the strategy, execution roadmap and running day to day ops

You’ll be the architect and operator of our enrollment growth engine — responsible for driving top-of-funnel acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth across Wharton Online, Columbia Business School Exec. Ed., and future certificate partnerships.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and education. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and manage a small, high-performing team and agency partners.

Who You Are:

  • An aspiring CMO / CRO who thrives in a highly accountable (yet fun!) environment.
  • You’ve worked in a high growth environment where change is the real constant.
  • You have owned both revenue and CAC goals; along with having optimized every other metric in the funnel in a B2C offering.
  • You have built teams and led teams that are both cross functional and direct reports.
  • You have driven revenue through multiple communication channels; and have demonstrated experience bringing CAC down through optimization of lesser expensive communication channels.
  • You have built zero CAC marketing channels other than standard web organic.
  • You have demonstrated experience working with a double bottom line business; where you have had to hit numbers while also keeping the mission top of mind.

You Will Own:

Achieving our revenue and CAC goals and all pipeline metrics that lead into those, including:

Drive Enrollment and Marketing Performance

  • Lead paid, SEO, content marketing and partnerships marketing strategy and performance.
  • Partner with Lifecycle Marketing and the Head of Enrollment to drive engagement, enrollment, retention, and re-enrollment.
  • Manage and optimize agency relationships and internal growth marketers.
  • Oversee funnel performance and reporting dashboards (CAC, LTV, conversion rates).

Actions we expect you to perform:

  • Develop and execute the growth playbook for our certificate programs (Wharton, Columbia, and future partners).
  • Set cohort enrollment and revenue goals, and own the results end-to-end.
  • Identify new acquisition and distribution channels to reach working professionals and career switchers.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate with Enrollment, Brand, and Product teams to align on funnel optimization.
  • Coordinate campaign timing with university partners to ensure brand compliance.
  • Build forecasting models to predict and track performance for each 8-week cohort.

Scale Systems and Teams

  • Implement efficient processes to manage increasing program complexity and volume.
  • Coach and develop growth team members (direct reports and cross-functional collaborators).
  • Contribute to broader B2C strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in growth, lifecycle, or performance marketing, ideally in online education, consumer learning, or high-ticket B2C products.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable enrollment and revenue growth.
  • Mastery of digital channels (paid search, paid social, affiliates, email automation, SEO).
  • Data-driven mindset — you can model CAC:LTV, forecast enrollments, and identify funnel leaks.
  • Experience managing external agencies and internal marketing teams.
  • Strong communication and project management skills; thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Excitement for working with elite universities and a mission-driven education company.

What We Offer

  • A fun, lively, startup culture
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k)
  • 12 paid holidays
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Stipend to set up home office
  • Core values-based leadership
  • Flexible hybrid work model that supports a blend of in-office and remote work
  • Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced, growth-mode company
