Senior Process Engineer

The Quality team is seeking a multi-disciplinary individual to support Bots operating in the field, sustaining engineering initiatives, and problem solving.

The Senior Process Engineer position will interface with various engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, and software), as well as quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and site operations. The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, be adept at studying and analyzing problems, and able to lead broad teams through problem solving methodologies.

This position requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who cares deeply about their own and their team’s work and can execute responsibilities and with little supervision. 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:

  • Supports troubleshooting for Bots operating in the field. Identify and analyze Bot failures, support corrections and corrective actions, and report on observed trends.
  • Supports process controls and issue reporting for Bot diagnostics and repair facility.
  • Run queries on Bot log databases to identify trends and help determine root causes.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Work collaboratively with all major disciplines to ensure alignment between department specific needs and compliance with product and process requirements.
  • Leads investigations resulting in root cause and corrective actions through use of data analysis, inductive and deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Coordinate the efforts of individuals and teams performing investigations.
  • Provide reliability and statistical analysis.
  • Provide feasibility and optimization studies for proposed technical strategies.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement on product and process for cost reduction, quality, reliability, and efficiency improvement.
  • Presents process concept proposals and implements approved processes.
  • Develops and documents processes by studying requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and validating based off business needs.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with extensive manufacturing and quality experience.
  • Experience with ADX database queries and data analytics tools such as PowerBI.
  • Comfortable working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving situations
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, while being efficient with limited resources
  • Applicable experience related to product development, commercialization, and compliance strategies
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Constructively influence team decisions and product design requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to problem-solve complex issues in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to develop and manage a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines, and control several projects at various stages of work.
  • Possess the additional skills of business acumen, basic team facilitation, assignment flexibility, independent thinking and responsibility for execution
  • 5+ year of related experience
  • B.S. or M.S. degree, in systems, automation, software, electrical or mechanical engineering
