Role Description: Renewals Representative – APAC

Role Purpose:

Wasabi’s Renewal Representative is part of the larger Sales Development team (Business Development, Inside Sales, Renewals). In this role, responsibilities include account development, retention and expansion. You will play a key role in developing customer relationships on both the Channel and Direct Team. We’re looking for a sales-oriented professional who values creativity and customer engagement.

This position reports into the Director, Sales Development.

Responsibilities:

· Lead Customer Review Calls to assess experience, current usage of product, IT environment changes and growth opportunities

· Continuously assess risk in an account and proactively engage with customers who are at risk of leaving

· Collaborate with various organizations both internal and external including all Distributors and Value-Added Resellers throughout our Channel and Direct team

· Build and document renewal quotes, process orders, and compile history in company CRM database

· Meet or exceed quarterly/annual Individual/Team Sales Quotas

· Adhere to Wasabi policies and procedures accurately

· Prepare and engage in business development team meetings

Requirements:

· Able to speak fluent English and native Japanese with strong written and verbal communications skills

· 3-5 years of technology Business Development Representative or Renewals or Inside Sales experience (Storage experience a plus)

· Experience working in the Channel (Distributors & Resellers a plus)

· Enthusiastic about the challenge of working at a start-up

· Disciplined in planning and setting goals with a proven history of exceeding sales/renewal targets

· Passion for sales, driven and self-motivated to achieve goals

· Great interpersonal skills and loves working with people

· Able to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner with strong attention to details

· Creative with the desire to think outside the box to create a unique yet streamlined experience for our customers

· Experience using a CRM database e.g. Salesforce

· Bachelor’s degree

· This role can be located in: Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney or Singapore
