Role Description: 
 
We are seeking a product marketing manager to own and lead the positioning, messaging, and
go-to-market strategy for Wasabi AiR. This role requires domain knowledge and understanding
of cloud storage and media access management, specifically storage for organizing and
searching digital media files (video, audio, images). You will be responsible for defining strategy,
goals, and priorities that drive impact across the business.
 
This strategic role involves collaborating with team members and leaders across the company
to drive exceptional positioning and growth in highly competitive markets. To be successful, you
need to have a solid understanding of cloud storage as well as familiarity with AI/ML
technologies and intelligent media storage.
 
As product marketing manager for Wasabi AiR, you will focus on delivering clear market
identity and messaging for Wasabi AiR’s features and use cases to ensure that sales teams,
channel partners, and customers see the value of Wasabi AiR

Responsibilities:

    • Develop product positioning and messaging - Create clear and differentiated product
      messaging to effectively communicate the value proposition of Wasabi AiR intelligent
      media storage.
    • Competitive analysis - Identify competitors and their strengths and weaknesses to
      differentiate Wasabi AiR positioning and messaging.
    • Craft marketing collateral - Collaborate with the marketing team to create persuasive
      content, including sales collateral, product guides, website content, webinar content,
      conference presentations, and blog posts, all to drive awareness and demand for
      Wasabi AiR.
    • Campaign development and execution - Develop and execute marketing campaigns that
      promote Wasabi AiR using various channels such as digital advertising, social media,
      email marketing, and events.
    • Partner with product management - Collaborate with the product management team to
      identify product enhancements and new feature opportunities based on market
      demand and customer feedback.
    • Travel, up to 30% of the year, in support of Wasabi’s activities at trade shows,
      conferences, and field events.
    • Other related projects and programs as needed.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience (4-6 years) in product marketing, preferably in the cloud storage or
      cloud services industry. Media and entertainment industry experience is a huge plus
    • Strong understanding of cloud storage technologies, market trends, and competitive
      landscape.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate
      complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and
      product launches.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed
      marketing decisions.
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

To reach desired objectives, the products marketing manager partners with other internal
teams to develop feature and use-case specific messaging. These teams include:

    • Marketing communications, solutions marketing, alliances marketing and field
      marketing teams to amplify messages and drive lead generation
    • Product management to deliver messaging, compelling proof points, and points of view
      to improve the market position for Wasabi AiR use-cases and drive competitive
      advantage and business results
    • Global sales teams, including partner channel teams, to understand buyer needs, how
      Wasabi AiR provides value and how AiR is differentiated from other offerings in their
