Compensation: $61,714 - $96,779

Position Overview: Yu Ying is looking for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to inspire and guide our students. Specials Teachers at Washington Yu Ying are part of a collaborative and supportive faculty with a common goal of continuously improving a great school. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and enriching an inquiry-based classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and academic excellence. Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement Music Arts curriculum in collaboration with other subject areas being taught.
- Ability to plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies
- Work in a trusted and positive manner within a team environment
- Establish a positive classroom culture
- Emphasize and support oral language development across all content areas
- Communicate effectively to families and work collaboratively with them as partners
- Work positively and collaboratively as a member of a grade team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in education preferred.
- One year of experience as a lead classroom Teacher preferred
