THE ROLE
The Logistics Manager is a critical operational role at WAYB, responsible for the end-to-end movement of finished goods from our overseas manufacturing partners to our customers. You'll own the entire supply chain execution layer, from purchase orders through 3PL fulfillment, while working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to keep inventory accurate, orders on time, and operations running smoothly.
This role reports to the Director of Operations and is based in Salt Lake City. Relocation assistance is not available.
TONE: EXECUTE TO OWN
Create and manage Purchase Orders > Own purchase order planning and execution with overseas manufacturing partners.
Coordinate international freight > Own all international transportation, freight forwarding, customs coordination, and inbound logistics.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Create and manage Purchase Orders with our overseas manufacturing partners
- Coordinate international freight from overseas ports, including ocean and air freight
- Book and manage LTL shipments for both external retail partners and internal replenishment
3PL & Fulfillment Operations
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our 3PL partner, overseeing all receiving and outbound fulfillment
- Manage Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon, and Wholesale fulfillment operations to ensure on-time, accurate order execution
- Own receiving workflows, inventory allocation, and customer fulfillment processes
Inventory & Reporting
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy across all channels
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Manage supplies procurement and logistics invoicing
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and key operational databases
Demand Planning
- Forecast inventory requirements
- Recommend production timing
- Monitor weeks of supply
- Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory
Supplier Management
- Build strong relationships with overseas factories
- Manage freight forwarders
- Manage customs brokers
- Evaluate logistics vendors
- Negotiate shipping costs and service levels
Systems
Experience with systems similar to:
- ERP (NetSuite preferred)
- Amazon Vendor/Seller Central
- Shopify
- ShipHero / Extensiv / ShipStation / other WMS
- Excel (advanced)
- Power BI / Looker / Tableau preferred
Compliance
- Customs
- HTS Codes

- Import Documentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance on demand planning, special projects, and operational requests
- Support process auditing and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics workflows
- Maintain and update key SOPs, workflows, and vendor documentation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or operations
- Experience managing international supply chains from overseas manufacturing through customer delivery
- Background in a consumer products, juvenile products, outdoor products, or CPG company preferred
- Hands-on experience managing 3PL relationships and freight coordination (domestic LTL and international freight)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Continuous improvement mindset; you look for ways to make things faster, cheaper, or more accurate
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, order management platforms, or ERP tools
- Clear communicator and collaborative partner across functions
- Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of building structure in fast-changing environments
