The role
As our Talent Acquisition Partner for Fleet Operations, you’ll take the lead on building the team that powers our real-world testing and operations. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with Fleet Operations leadership to shape hiring strategies, deliver exceptional candidate experiences, and bring in the talent we need to scale. You’ll play a key role in helping us build a diverse and high-performing team across our technician, support, and fleet operations functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end hiring for all Fleet Operations globally, from kick off to offer.
- Lead and manage a small team of recruiters, supporting their growth, performance, and delivery.
- Partner closely with Fleet Ops leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, headcount plans, and role requirements.
- Source and engage exceptional candidates across technical and operational disciplines, with a focus on building fully representative pipelines.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the process, acting as an ambassador for Wayve’s values.
- Use data to continuously improve funnel conversion, time to hire, and hiring quality.
- Support hiring managers with best practice guidance on interviewing, feedback, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the wider People & Talent team to support onboarding, branding, events, and process improvements.
About you
In order to set you up for success as a Talent Partner at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
Essential
- Proven experience hiring for technical operations, logistics, or fleet-related roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience hiring on a global scale across multiple geographies.
- Experience managing and developing talent acquisition professionals.
- Strong sourcing skills and ability to build pipelines from scratch using a variety of channels.
- Excellent stakeholder management – able to influence, advise, and build trust with hiring managers at all levels.
- Experience working in-house and collaborating cross-functionally with People, Finance, and Ops.
- Passion for candidate experience and inclusive hiring practices.
Desirable
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar ATS tools.
- Comfortable working in a startup or scale-up environment with evolving processes and priorities.
This is a full-time role based in our office in Sunnyvale. At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home.
