Make Wayve the experience that defines your career!

The role

As an in-house designer at Wayve, you’ll be a creative generalist who thrives on variety. From crafting compelling social graphics to refining brand guidelines, supporting pitch decks, and mocking up digital experiences - you’ll be a visual problem-solver who brings clarity, energy, and consistency to everything we create.

This is a hybrid role for someone who’s as comfortable in Figma as they are in Photoshop, and who understands how to make complex ideas feel intuitive, exciting, and on-brand. Key responsibilities;

  • Design across touch points spanning brand, product, and marketing. Design a wide range of creative assets for product launches, GTM campaigns, research explainers, internal comms, and employer branding, delivering cohesive visuals across digital, print, and motion formats. You’ll be responsible for producing campaign assets end-to-end, including pitch decks, event collateral, web graphics, and social templates.

  • Develop and evolve Wayve’s visual identity and creative systems. Build and maintain design systems and templates that support the scalability of our brand across regions, teams, and content types. You’ll work in Figma and Adobe CS to produce reusable components that ensure consistency, efficiency, and cross-team alignment. Core assets should stand the test of time, you must showcase versatility in your work.

  • Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives. Bring clarity to complex technical stories; helping translate our end-to-end AI models, safety systems, simulation tools, and AV deployments into compelling visual narratives. You’ll collaborate closely with ML researchers, AV engineers, and comms teams to co-design everything from safety diagrams to data visualisations and product illustrations.

  • Contribute to and refine our design systems and brand toolkit. Re-set our design systems, and help evolve our brand toolkit, ensuring everything we publish looks sharp and cohesive. Support internal and external storytelling by shaping brand-aligned visuals for recruitment campaigns, investment materials, keynote presentations, and global partnership announcements. You’ll be expected to deliver high-quality design under tight timelines with strong attention to visual detail.

  • Elevate storytelling across investor, recruitment, and media content. Bring creativity and polish to all deliverables; ensure everything we publish looks sharp, thoughtful, and recognisably Wayve. Raising the bar for how we communicate our technology, culture, and ambition to the world. You’ll play a key role in building trust and excitement through visual design, across every audience and touchpoint.

  • A strong, versatile portfolio spanning brand, digital, and marketing design.

  • Expert-level proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite

  • A comfort with ambiguity, curiosity to learn quickly, and an eye for elegant, functional design.

  • Passion for storytelling, design craft, and emerging technologies.

Desirable
