Job Brief:

The Senior Director of Professional Services is a strategic business leader responsible for transforming Wayvia’s services organization into a scalable, revenue-generating engine. This individual will architect and commercialize the professional services model, with a focus on profitable growth, customer value acceleration, and operational maturity.

This role spans technical and non-technical services, including managed services, consultative services, and pre-sales engagement. The Senior Director will own functions such as pricing strategy, forecasting, TAM capacity modeling, time-tracking frameworks, and services monetization.

 

Responsibilities:

Professional Services Growth & Monetization

  • Develop and operationalize a commercial services model that includes packaged offerings, paid consulting, premium or priority service tiers, specialized training, and billable engagements.

  • Create pricing models, financial projections, and revenue forecasts tied to service delivery and resource costs.

  • Model and analyze TAM capacity, utilization, and service delivery economics across various offerings.

Service Model & Execution Framework

  • Define methodologies, service standards, and delivery frameworks to ensure consistency and scale.

  • Implement time-tracking, billable-hour structures, and resource-allocation logic for both technical and advisory services.

  • Introduce scalable engagement models that may include leveraging partners, channel collaborators, and external consultants where appropriate.

Operational Leadership

  • Drive maturity in operational planning, utilization management, and project governance.

  • Partner closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, CX, Support, and Sales to ensure alignment of service offerings with customer needs and product roadmap evolution.

  • Build executive and stakeholder reporting on resource utilization, profitability, service performance, and delivery outcomes.

Customer Value & Strategic Influence

  • Establish structured feedback channels between customers and internal teams to influence go-to-market motions, product enhancements, and service offering expansions.
  • Ensure that all service engagements deliver measurable value and improve customer retention, adoption, and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years leading professional services, consulting, or services operations within a technology or SaaS organization.
  • 3+ years with direct ownership of professional services or services monetization programs.
  • Proven success designing and scaling services as a profit center, including experience with revenue forecasting, pricing, and utilization modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and standardize service methodologies and delivery practices.
  • Experience working with or managing services partners, VARs, external vendors, or channel delivery ecosystems.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, particularly in modeling labor economics, service cost structures, and margin optimization.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence.
  • Able to operate with autonomy while collaborating across matrixed teams in a fast-paced environment.

Location:
This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States.

 

Compensation:
The salary for this role is $150,000-200,000 with variable compensation as part of the compensation structure. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
