Your Role: As a Senior Account Executive, you will be the key driver of our brand sales efforts, 
responsible for generating e-commerce brand leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Your 
efforts will directly impact Wayward's growth and success, making you an integral part of our team.

This Role is Perfect for You if You Have:

  • 1-2 years of proven sales experience with a track record of succeeding with cold outreach in 
    ambiguous environments
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred)
  • Experience working in startups is a plus
  • A fearless approach to challenges, ready to learn from failures
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms and/or influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with the Amazon seller ecosystem is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Eagerness to contribute ideas and adapt to a dynamic startup culture
  • Willingness to collaborate in-person at least 3 days per week in our Bellevue, WA office.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate your own e-commerce brand leads through cold outreach, tapping your
    network, and making cold calls
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential brand customers, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Continuously monitor and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales tactics

Salary range: $60,000-$70,000 + Variable Commission Plan (Additional $10,000 - $20,000) on top of 
base) additionally eligible to receive generous stock option grants.
