About the job

WeaveGrid is seeking a Head of Go-to-Market (GTM) to define and execute on our strategy to grow utility customer accounts. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the executive team, the Head of GTM will oversee Business Development (selling to utilities), Sales Operations, and Customer Success.  The right candidate may also be responsible for broader go-to-market functions such as Enterprise Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales Engineering.

This is a pivotal role for a strategic, metrics-driven leader who thrives in mission-driven environments and knows how to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional GTM teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Strategic Leadership of the Revenue function:

  • Own the overall Revenue strategy and execution across enterprise utility accounts
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Market Development and Policy teams to ensure alignment between product roadmap, customer needs, and market strategy
  • Contribute to company-wide planning, decision-making, and resource allocation as a member of the executive team
  • Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing Sales and Customer Success organizations that consistently delivers results
  • Connect the dots between functions and individuals to solve complex problems in line with best practices
  • Strengthen WeaveGrid’s enterprise sales and customer success playbooks through operational discipline, driving predictable growth and expansion
  • Ensure customers consistently see a measurable ROI from WeaveGrid’s value proposition
  • Jump into customer conference calls from time to time

Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

About you

  • 10+ years of experience in senior Sales, Revenue or commercial leadership roles, ideally in B2B2C and/or enterprise SaaS
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Proven success selling complex software to utilities, government, and/or regulated entities a big plus
  • Experience driving adoption and growth in a product or program with a consumer-facing component
  • Deep understanding of sales, marketing, customer success, and GTM operations
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels
  • Track record of uncanny people leadership, holding a high bar of performance while providing lasting development
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous environments
  • Passion for WeaveGrid’s mission and a desire to contribute to climate impact at scale
  • Strong professional references
  • Experience in EVs, grid tech, automotive software, or climate tech a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and utility program delivery a plus, but not required
  • Technical fluency in data-driven or API-based software platforms a plus, but not required

Compensation

The total compensation for this opportunity includes a cash OTE range of $250,000 - $350,000 plus equity (stock options) and benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role scope, level, experience, and location. Please note that WeaveGrid may not necessarily hire individuals at or near the top of the range. As you go through our interview process, our recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive compensation package within the proposed range and combine it with an equity package to get you excited about your future at WeaveGrid.
