We’re looking for a seasoned Staff Product Manager to join our expanding team and drive the continued evolution of the Webflow CMS.
At Webflow, our CMS is a critical part of giving development superpowers to everyone as it empowers designers and content creators to build dynamic, database-driven websites without writing code. The Webflow CMS combines powerful content structuring and intuitive visual design tools, giving users design freedom and technical builders the ability to create complex data models and integrations. As a Staff Product Manager, you'll shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this central product, advocating for the needs of content creators and leveraging your expertise to deliver a simple, yet powerful user experience. This role requires a passion for user experience, a strong foundation in web design and development principles, a deep understanding of content management systems, and a knack for simplifying complexity.

- Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges depending on the cost of labor of the geographic area. The ranges shared below may change if you are hired in another geographic location.

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

As a Staff Product Manager, you’ll …
- Advance the vision, strategy & execution of the Webflow CMS, ensuring content it is powerful
- Develop & drive the roadmap for the CMS content authoring & management experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including design, engineering, user research, data science, sales, education, and community teams to identify and define features that improve the product experience.
- Conduct research and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Prioritize product backlog and manage roadmap based on strategic priorities, user needs, and market trends.
- Develop and articulate compelling value propositions to stakeholders.
- Define, track, and analyze key product metrics to inform decision-making and measure success.
- Advocate for our users and drive product improvements based on user feedback and data.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for product features and updates, working in close collaboration with our product marketing team.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.
About you:
You’ll thrive as a Staff Product Manager if you:
- Have experience owning and driving product strategy on products with strong user experiences, particularly in SaaS or content & database platform tools
- Have experience working with data structures, API design, and technical product development
- Have strong stakeholder management experience leading products that support multiple customer personas.
- Are deeply empathetic and passionate about understanding user needs and transforming them into tangible product features.
- Have a strong technical acumen and can articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Possess a 'test and learn' mentality and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
- Can balance big-picture thinking with deep-dive analysis and attention to detail.
- Have a strong understanding and appreciation of design aesthetics and principles.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical mindset.
- Have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving a common goal.
- Excel at translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Have experience with Webflow and other web design and development tools or are passionate about democratizing access to web technologies.
