Job Title: Member Transportation Specialist
Location: Mobile Units (Rotating Locations) 
Reports to: Transportation Supervisor
Salary Range: $28/hour

As a Mobile Member Transportation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping members access essential healthcare by providing safe, reliable, and respectful transportation to and from our mobile clinics. 

Position Summary 

The Mobile Member Transportation Specialist ensures that members are transported safely, professionally, and efficiently between designated mobile units, clinics, and approved locations. This role requires adaptability, as it involves working across various mobile unit locations as needed. More than just driving, this position is about creating a supportive experience, fostering trust and engagement, and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. 

What You’ll Do 

Mobile Member Transportation & Safety 

  • Provide safe, timely, and professional transportation for members between mobile clinics, fixed clinic sites, and authorized locations.
  • Assist members with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and clinic policies to maintain high transportation standards.
  • Maintain flexibility to rotate across different mobile unit locations based on operations needs. 

Member Support & Engagement 

  • Greet members with warmth, respect, and empathy.
  • Maintain professional and compassionate communication when assisting members.
  • Work collaboratively with mobile unit staff to ensure seamless care coordination.

Operational & Administrative Excellence 

  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues immediately. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of mileage, routes, and member interactions. 
  • Support additional operational needs, such as mobile unit setup, deliveries, or other administrative tasks. 

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Current or attainable First Aid and CPR certification

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong driving skills with a commitment to safety and reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and teams.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to work across multiple mobile unit locations as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • At least one year of professional driving experience, preferably in transportation or customer service.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or working with diverse populations is a plus.
