Position Summary:

The SUD Clinical Supervisor provides clinical leadership and oversight for counseling and peer support services within the clinic. This role ensures quality of care, regulatory compliance, documentation integrity, and alignment with evidence-based and harm reduction practices.

The Supervisor provides required clinical supervision to SUDP Trainees, direct oversight to SUDPs, and structured support to CPSS and CPSST staff. Operating within a scalable “player-coach” model, the position begins with a member care list that decreases as census and staffing increase, allowing focus to shift toward supervision, training, quality assurance, and program development.

This role will temporarily oversee the Peer Team in collaboration with the Peer Team Lead while supporting the state transition to CPSS Supervisors.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position at the North Seattle We Care Daily Clinic.

  • Monitor timely completion of ASAM assessments, individualized treatment plans, progress notes, service encounters, peer documentation, and discharge summaries.
  • Establish and reinforce documentation best practices to ensure clarity, defensibility, audit readiness, and alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct routine clinical record audits, identify trends or documentation deficiencies, and implement corrective action plans to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for licensing, auditing, and compliance reviews related to counseling and peer services.
