We are seeking a VP, Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will help support our mission by ensuring high-quality execution of daily responsibilities, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to a collaborative environment focused on patient care and continuous improvement.

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Vice President of Marketing to build and lead a high-impact marketing organization that accelerates sustainable revenue growth across patient-specific compounding and office-use products. This role will serve as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team and will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated B2B and B2B2C marketing strategy in a highly regulated animal health environment. The VP, Marketing will create a scalable marketing engine that drives predictable, consistent growth in both sales focused and non-focus accounts.

Location: This is a remote position but must be able to commute to our Swedesboro, NJ office when needed.

Schedule: Mon-Fri
Compensation: The base pay range for this position starts at $190K base plus an annual bonus commensurate with the individual's experience and qualifications

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Accelerate growth of patient-specific compounding through increased refillable new prescriptions and prescription longevity
  • Build and operationalize a prescription management marketing system that drives adherence, refills, and lifetime value
  • Enable Sales and Corporate Accounts teams with plans, tools, materials, and insights that improve conversion and productivity
  • Develop a balanced strategy to optimize and sustain office-use compounded product sales
  • Establish data-driven, compliant marketing practices that scale

 

Strategy & Growth Leadership

  • Own & execute the enterprise marketing strategy aligned to Wedgewood’s commercial growth priorities.
  • Design a marketing engine that effectively reaches, converts, and retains customers beyond direct sales coverage.
  • Drive predictable demand generation across digital, content, lifecycle, and omnichannel programs.
  • Balance near-term revenue impact with long-term brand and customer equity.

Marketing Plan Creation & Execution

  • Builds & executes Wedgewood and Blue Rabbit brand / portfolio strategies, materials, messaging, tools & tactics.
  • Lead marketing initiatives that drive growth in prescriptions and develop and scale prescription lifecycle programs.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Digital Experience to measure script velocity, refill rates, and performance.
  • Create a clear go-to-market and lifecycle strategy for office- use compounded products.
  • Create a marketing calendar to optimize portfolio positioning, promotional cadence and channel execution.

Financial & Commercial Acumen

  • Own marketing-driven product demand forecasts in partnership with operations, sales, finance, product and business intelligence to support capacity planning, inventory management, and service-level performance
  • Partner with Finance to support budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis tied to revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin
  • Manage the marketing function’s promotional and operating expense budgets, ensuring disciplined investment, ROI measurement, and alignment to growth priorities
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Wedgewood’s revenue models, and EBITDA impact, translating marketing investments into financial outcomes
  • Establish ROI frameworks to evaluate campaigns, channels, and programs based on revenue lift, margin impact, and customer lifetime value. 

Product, Competitive & Industry Knowledge 

  • Creates and maintains Wedgewood product and technical knowledge. 
  • Develop and share market, customer and industry knowledge.
  • Monitors market conditions for changes that impact Wedgewood’s business.
  • Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position Wedgewood’s solutions against them.

Sales Enablement & Commercial Partnership 

  • Work in lockstep with Sales leadership, Corporate Accounts, and Inside Sales 
  • Deliver sales-ready plans, messaging, tools, and campaigns that are practical and executable 
  • Support account-based strategies for enterprise and multi-location customers.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of both marketing leaders and individual contributors.
  • Establish clear goals, operating rhythms, and performance metrics.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience required; MBA preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing product demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, finance and operations. 
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar marketing and promotional budgets with accountability for ROI. 
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles 
  • Demonstrated success in B2B and B2B2C marketing environments. 
  • Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing marketing teams and lead and influence cross functional teams and partner with Sales to enable frontline execution. 
  • Track record of building demand engines that drive growth without direct sales coverage. 
  • Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing, digital engagement, and omnichannel strategies. 
  • Experience operating in a regulated industry (pharma, animal health, healthcare, medical devices, or similar). 
  • Experience in animal health, veterinary, or adjacent healthcare markets is preferred 
  • Familiarity with prescription-based or refill-driven business models and working with compounding pharmacies or customized therapeutics is a plus.
