
Manufacturing Visual Inspector

In this role you would be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of finished product units by performing detailed inspections, identifying defects, and removing non-conforming products from each batch. This role plays a critical part in upholding quality standards and supporting the organization’s mission of improving the lives of animals and those who love them.

Location: San Jose, California (Onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $24.75 per hour

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Inspect final container products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Inspect finished solid oral dose tablets for defects and overall quality
- Support production and filling activities as needed
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and all quality documentation with strict adherence
- Accurately complete and maintain documentation in accordance with cGMP requirements
- Perform labeling of finished products in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure proper label reconciliation and verify completeness and accuracy of all product identification
- Check all materials and products for accuracy of information and compliance
- Learn and identify all defect types; successfully pass required qualification assessments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Assist in other operational areas as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of materials and techniques used in sterile or controlled manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices and controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and documentation requirements
- Must be able to pass a visual acuity (eye) exam
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of cleanroom or related manufacturing experience preferred
