Account Executive (Onsite - 5 days per week)
Overview:
The Account Executive drives long-term regional market growth and business strategies for assigned strategic accounts. This role is responsible for independently evaluating client operations, formulating customized business development strategies, and negotiating high-value solutions to maximize customer adoption, retention, and revenue outcomes. Operating with significant autonomy, the Account Executive serves as a primary strategic consultant to clients, aligning platform capability with broad client business goals while overseeing account risk mitigation and revenue management.
The impact you'll make:
- Strategic Account & Revenue Planning: Formulate and execute tailored account management strategies to drive revenue, client retention, and market growth across a high-value portfolio.
- Business Evaluation & Solution Architecture: Independently evaluate client operational structures, market positioning, and business needs to design and recommend complex business solutions.
- Consultative Negotiation & Partnership: Exercise discretion and independent judgment during client engagements to negotiate solution packages, close upsells, and establish strategic partnerships.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation Strategy: Devise, direct, and implement proactive retention and churn-mitigation frameworks for accounts identified as operational or revenue risks.
- Business Performance Analytics: Conduct strategic business reviews analyzing client performance metrics, industry benchmarks, and operational health to advise client executive teams.
- Cross-Functional Strategy & Product Advocacy: Synthesize market analysis and customer insights to collaborate with Executive Leadership, Product, and Engineering teams in shaping future platform strategy.
- Operational Oversight & Workflow Management: Direct onboarding strategies and partner with Account Managers to establish high-level client governance, data integrity, and compliance standards.
What you've accomplished:
- BS / BA Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Ad Tech sales or account management; client/customer facing role
- Proven track record of hitting goals and revenue targets.
- Data-oriented, analytical sales approach.
- Customer-centric and an eager relationship builder, with the ability to share feedback with customers to drive positive long-term relationship momentum (and not always just to appease in the moment).
- Confidence in presenting to clients (onsite or on phone) to influence credibly and effectively.
- Comfort with and ability to operate at an accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a clear attention to detail and process oriented.
Bonus points:
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Experience in the cannabis industry
The base pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $128,750.00 per year, and a competitive bonus
