Weee! Is currently seeking an Inbound Supervisor I, who will be responsible for overseeing all inbound shipments, ensuring accurate, timely, and safe receiving operations. The supervisor will lead and develop a receiving team, coordinate with buyers and mid-mile departments, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures along with driving continuous improvement with the inbound operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, verification, and system receiving
- Ensure all inbound shipments match purchase orders, bills of lading (BOL), and quality standards
- Coordinate dock scheduling and communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
- Monitor receiving productivity, labor utilization, and on-time receiving performance
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or late deliveries
- Expiration date control, and proper inventory segregation (fresh, frozen, dry goods)
- Enforce safety regulations, 5S standards, and housekeeping in the receiving area
- Train, coach, and evaluate receiving associates and equipment operators
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment)
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in WMS systems
- Support audits, inventory counts, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of warehouse receiving or logistics experience
- 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Ability to read Chinese preferred (for labels and Invoices)
- Strong knowledge of receiving processes, dock operations, and inventory control
- Experience with WMS systems and basic Google space skills
- Ability to operate or supervise the use of forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Comfortable working in temperature-controlled and cold storage environments
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse setting
- May require weekend, early morning, or overtime shifts
- Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
Preferred Skills
- Experience with food, fresh, or cold-chain receiving operations
- Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA regulations, and 5S principles
- Bilingual (English/Chinese or Spanish) a plus

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $21/hr - $25.50/hr
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
