Data Engineer
Essential Job Duties:
- Leverage Agile DevOps methodologies for requirements capture; architecture and design; construction; quality assurance; code and documentation version; product deployment; troubleshooting; and change management.
- Implement data security and privacy protocols.
- Ahere to HIPAA guidelines and regulatory frameworks within the healthcare domain.
- Implement healthcare APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange among healthcare systems and entities.
- Formulate and execute solution components including quality assurance comprising of detailed design; construction; unit testing of functional logic; data integration and transformation; user interface; and overall user experience.
- Pioneer and sustain data reservoirs and managerial systems.
- Perform quality assurance and troubleshooting of solutions logic and data integration for production readiness.
- Conduct requirements analysis including documentation of business requirements; use cases; user stories; data dictionary; business rules; security requirements; and reporting specifications.
- Establish subject matter expertise in healthcare business operations to inform business and to conduct functional requirements development and test case planning.
Job Requirements:
- Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related field, and one (1) year of work experience in the job offered or in a related position leveraging the agile life cycle for solutions development and data integration within the healthcare industry.
- Requires one (1) year of experience within the healthcare industry in each: (1) ETL and integration tools SSIS and Salesforce APEX; (2) HL7 and X12 payer transaction software to facilitate healthcare data and transactions; (3) data visualization and reporting tools Microsoft Power BI, SSRS and Azure Reporting; (4) coding in Pyspark, Python, and SQL languages to permit Azure Databricks to process the data; and (5) cloud platform Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory).
Salary: $124,800 to $144,800 per year
