Director, Strategy & Growth Finance

The Director, Strategy & Growth Finance plays a pivotal role at the intersection of WelbeHealth’s expansion efforts and financial strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Corporate Development with a “dotted line” to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will inform and guide the financial decision-making that underpins our growth and ensure that our expansion efforts are grounded in financial rigor. The Director will lead financial evaluation of new market entry opportunities, regulatory applications, and real estate investments across WelbeHealth’s expansion pipeline. They will partner closely with leaders in Finance, Strategy, Applications & Licensing, Real Estate, and Government Affairs to evaluate new program economics, prepare pro forma financials, secure financing for capital projects, and contribute to the refinement of rate-setting methodologies in existing and future markets. With strengths in financial analysis and external communication, they will engage directly with WelbeHealth executives and key external stakeholders such as regulators and partners, translating complex financial analyses into clear materials and synthesized recommendations in support of WelbeHealth’s work to bring high-quality, person-centered care to more frail seniors across the country.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead the financial evaluation of WelbeHealth’s highest-priority growth initiatives, including new market entry, RFP responses and applications, strategic partnerships, and new center development
- Create, own, and present detailed financial models, pro forma P&Ls, and capital projections to support decision-making and applications to grow and expand our programs
- Collaborate with WelbeHealth Finance leadership to ensure alignment between growth plans and broader financial strategy
- Partner with the Real Estate team to evaluate capital project costs; support real estate financing strategies; and participate in negotiations with developers, landlords, banks, and other financing partners
- Become WelbeHealth’s subject matter expert on PACE rate-setting methodology, providing financial insights to help share reimbursement models and educating key external stakeholders on PACE cost structure and capital requirements
- Synthesize financial and strategic insights into written and verbal communication for WelbeHealth leaders, regulatory agencies, and strategic partners
- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights, weekends and overtime.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred (Concentration in Finance or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategic finance, corporate development, healthcare investment banking, FP&A, management consulting, or similar fields
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present financial models and strategic recommendations to senior executives and external stakeholders
- Deep experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and strong proficiency with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization
- Experience working in or with healthcare provider organizations preferred and experience in capital project evaluation and real estate finance preferred

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $159,939 - $211,119 / year + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
