Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying all financial transactions. This role is also accountable for maintaining general ledgers, preparing month-end close procedures, and supporting interim and year-end financial audits.
Essential Job Duties:
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare journal entries in compliance with US GAAP through the compilation and analysis of financial data
- Review and manage monthly general ledger account reconciliations and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Develop and implement reconciliation improvements that drive efficiency while delivering meaningful financial insights
- Draft quarterly financial reports to be submitted to government agencies, investors and financial institutions, as well as assist with interim and year-end financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries
- Conduct research and assist with drafting technical accounting memos, updates to the corporate Accounting Manual, and desk procedures
- Interpret and implement technical accounting guidance to strengthen financial reporting processes and internal controls
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field
- CPA preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of general or public accounting experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $99,309 - $131,088 / year + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
