Provider Partnership Associate
***This role requires candidates to be based in or near Newark, NJ, with the ability to travel frequently for field work and in-center visits

The Provider Partnership Associate will support internal and external functions that enable our high-caliber provider network to deliver services to frail seniors across multiple geographies. This role collaborates both virtually and in-person with our provider partners and PACE center leadership on healthcare-related issues, primarily regarding onboarding, education on authorization, and claims, to ensure continue provider participation. The Provider Partnership Associate resolves queries and trains healthcare providers to ensure operational efficiency.
This role is different because the Provider Partnership Associate at WelbeHealth:
- Serves as a highly visible, relationship-driven partner to our provider network, owning onboarding, education, and ongoing engagement while proactively identifying opportunities to improve provider experience and operational workflows
- Operates at the intersection of operations, clinical teams, and external providers, with the opportunity to directly influence care delivery and outcomes for vulnerable seniors within a mission-driven PACE model

On the day-to-day, you will:
- Initiate and maintain effective channels of communication with our high-quality network of aligned providers, through ownership of implementation and provider relations functions
- Guide partners from initial provider training and onboarding of Plan policies, procedures, and available technology (ex. Provider Portal), through ongoing engagement and relationship optimization
- Manage external and cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth operational integration with our contracted provider partners and clinical staff
- Triage inbound provider relations questions and work cross-functionally to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Proactively and collaboratively think about how to further service our partners and measure provider satisfaction
- Develop a deep knowledge of the markets assigned to your region and serve as the network expert internally
- Manage healthcare provider accounts to achieve company strategies and goals
Job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in provider relations, specifically field work; experience in a managed care organization highly desired
- Proven experience building trust-based relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and deliver service-centric experience
- Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond in providing service to providers or partners
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
