The Director, Analytics is a uniquely positioned role, working closely with business and clinical stakeholders in an analytical problem-solving and thought leader capacity with strong consulting acumen. The role requires very strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, in addition to a thorough understanding of various data analysis and analytical methods to formulate analyses, models and solutions to business problems. This role will interact with various functional leaders in understanding their unique business problems (e.g., how to reduce attrition, improve clinical interventions, optimize transport times, reduce unhelpful utilization, maximize real estate efficiency, simplify operational workflows, increase member and employee satisfaction etc.), analyze available enterprise and external data and develop analytical models to uncover levers that could be applied to improve business outcomes. This role requires a mix of team management and mentorship, data analysis and visualization expertise, collaboration and relationship building, leadership, creativity with data and finding new data (internal and external),. The Director, Analytics is a member of the WelbeHealth leadership team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth

  • Leads a high-impact analytics function that goes beyond reporting, combining business consulting, analytical rigor, and innovation to identify new opportunities, influence enterprise strategy, and transform data into actionable decisions across the organization.

On the day-to-day, you will:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders in understanding the business problem, deriving insights from the underlying data, and applying the right analysis on the appropriate datasets to unravel creative solution and strategies to achieve business goals
  • Building relationships and trust with business partners; Using data, information, analysis and modeling to find ways to improve key metrics, optimize operations and clinical efficacy
  • Communicate effectively to business users, stakeholders and leaders on how the most appropriate data and analytical methods are selected, how were the findings arrived at, and what the recommended actions are and why
  • Be able to effectively measure the efficacy of various levers, course as necessary, and use data and facts to arrive at the optimal solution to business problems
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach and have strong emotional intelligence
  • Lead with influence, without ego and exhibit a collaborative spirit, with an unyielding motivation to do what’s best for the organization
  • Manage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring; Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, relevant professional experience may be substituted; Masters degree preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in improving business operations, financial and clinical outcomes using data and analysis is required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in business analytics, with a focus on consultative analysis and collaborative problem-solving using data analysis, creativity, experience and insight
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with understanding business and clinical processes and finding ways to uncover opportunities for improvement using data and insight
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with leaders, stakeholders and users
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI or other analytical and business intelligence tools.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience guiding analysts on analysis design problems and being acutely hands-on while being able to think high-level; Unique capability to transform complexity (abundance of data, opinions, methods etc.) into simplicity, and deliver recommendations in plain, easy to understand terms

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
