Associate, Marketing Operations

Position: Associate, Marketing Operations

Reporting To: Manager, Marketing & Engagement

Location: Chapel Hill, NC; Newton, MA; New York, NY

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000, depending on qualifications, plus bonus potential and benefits

Position Summary

We're looking for a curious, data driven, innovative Associate, Marketing Operations, to execute  strategic communications for our members across email, push, SMS, and direct mail channels. You will play a key role in operationalizing our communication strategies to deliver on our activation and engagement KPIs through useful and personalized interventions throughout the member lifecycle. You will join a growing Marketing team at a time of significant growth and opportunity, and your experience and ideas to drive efficiency throughout the content development and execution process will be valued across a full range of marketing responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the operationalization, execution, maintenance, and reporting responsibilities of the email, push, SMS, direct mail marketing and other channels, while interfacing across departments to execute campaigns according to timelines and that drive to success metrics
  • Publish and manage the marketing communications schedule, assist with research and analysis of best practices, and serve as a liaison with Member Services on marketing programs and campaigns
  • Work closely with marketing team stakeholders to execute overall activation and engagement strategies for clients and DTC offerings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Data Science, Member Services, Engineering, and Product partners to ensure that communications are held to the highest level of accuracy in line with the the strategy and delivered at the right time, with the right message, across the right channel 
  • Identify opportunities within the channel to build tests that will deliver incremental improvements and insights to help build world-class and member-centric communications
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a marketing function
  • Experience with CRM automation tools, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, preferred 
  • Experience with project management tools, JIRA and Airtable preferred
  • Creative and logical thinker that can identify problems as well as develop solutions 
  • Ability to translate creative input into tactical plans 
  • A keen eye for the small details while staying true to the bigger picture strategy
  • Willingness to pitch-in and have an entrepreneurial spirit to achieve shared goals 
  • Commitment to member-centric marketing and the ability to manage metrics and end-goals
  • Experience working for a member-driven technology company a plus
