WellSaid is the leading AI voice company for enterprise and professional applications. Using carefully sourced voice talent and our own AI advanced platform, WellSaid provides ultra-realistic voices that the world’s biggest brands trust to engage listeners. We build AI responsibly and ethically.

Who You Are: A Creative, Strategic Product Leader

As Director of Product, you will be the voice of the customer. You will define products that deliver innovation in features, usability and product performance. This role requires a leader who moves fast, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems. You will be expected to operate both strategically and tactically: thinking big to drive new opportunities, diving deep in data to uncover customer insights, and working backwards from the customer.

In this role you will lead a team of Product Managers and Designers to research, define, and drive the roadmap for our suite of products. You also will partner closely with engineering teams to bring your plans to life. As our ideal teammate, you possess a natural curiosity, sharp analytical skills, and are excited to innovate on behalf of customers.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Deeply understand the needs of our customers to build products with great market fit through market and customer research.
  • Craft product strategy and set product roadmaps in collaboration with leaders across the organization, driving tradeoff decisions in service of customer needs
  • Develop and grow the product org to build the right product features
    • Manage a high performing team of Product Managers and Designers, ensuring they have clear goals and responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship and leadership to help your team excel, and provide constructive feedback where necessary.
    • Create a culture of strong ownership, resulting in highly reliable products and services at scale.
  • Build product management processes and implement best practices to build an exceptionally well functioning product and design team.
  • Define the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute.
  • Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, design, development, release, analysis, and iteration
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative data insights from customer research, data analysis and business analytics to help drive product decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • Curious & Creative. You’re comfortable navigating between the big ideas and executional realities to create an achievable product strategy. You are comfortable with ambiguity, have a hunger to learn and actively seek new challenges. You creatively find solutions.
  • Influencer. You’re comfortable influencing a group of executives as well as communicating your product vision clearly to the cross-functional team.
  • Communicator. You can be open to different communication styles and listen carefully to diverse sets of ideas.
  • Do-er. You’re biased toward action, and are willing to make commitments and trade-offs with other leaders to remove impediments for your team; you are a leader obsessed with delivering value in an iterative way focusing in minimum viable product
  • Customer Focused. You have a desire and ability to connect with our external or internal customers to fully understand their needs deeply.
  • Learner. You have an appetite to learn new things or new technologies all while exhibiting humbleness when exploring unknown technologies
  • Team Player. You enjoy working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal. You are also able to coach others and be a mentor in product development.
  • Track Record. You come with a proven track record of success delivering high quality SaaS services to customers.

To be successful in this role, you ideally also have some combination of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Ideally 7+ years of experience in SaaS product management
  • Proven track record of end-to-end software product delivery, from defining product vision and requirements to product launch
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into digital products
  • Experience in enterprise software development
  • Experience working in startups and fast paced large corporations (at-scale products)

To join our team you:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
