Private Carer Required for Elderly Lady in Sunninghill

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable carer to support our client's 73-year-old mother, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She is relocating to Sunninghill and requires assistance to maintain her independence and well-being in her new home.

Purpose:
To ensure a seamless continuation of the support she currently receives (1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the evening), allowing her to remain as independent as possible.

Requirements:

  • Non-Intimate Support: Including medication reminders, prompting with personal hygiene, encouragement to dress, and gentle reminders to brush teeth.

  • Local to Sunninghill: Ideally, the carer will be based nearby for ease of visits and consistency of care.

  • Flexibility & Dementia Awareness: Understanding and patience are essential in supporting her evolving needs.

  • Managed Through Direct Payments: The lady is currently in receipt of a direct payment, and payment is managed through a third party.

  • Simple Meal Preparation: Support, prompting and guidance with preparing food. 

Pay Rate:
£15 - £22 per hour, depending on experience.
