Overnight LPN (Private Duty Nursing) – Haymarket, VA 20169

A family in Haymarket, VA 20169 is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to provide overnight care for a 19-year-old with complex medical needs. The nurse will be employed through Guardian Residential Services.

Schedule:

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Household includes a trained service dog (golden lab mix)

Responsibilities:

• Administer suppository as needed
• Perform straight catheterization and provide ongoing foley care
• Monitor and log output accurately
• Manage BiPAP support
• Prepare and administer feedings via J-tube and medications via G-tube, including flushings
• Provide respiratory therapy, including two nebulizer treatments (albuterol and nebusol)
• Perform chest physiotherapy using The Vest (Chest PT)
• Provide suctioning and operate Synclara Cough Assist

Requirements:

• Active LPN license
• Willingness to complete hiring and onboarding through Guardian Residential Services is required
• Comfortable working in a home with a service dog
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Compensation/Benefits through Guardian Residential Services:  

• $30–$35 per hour base pay (+$2/hr nights | +$2.50/hr weekends)
