Part Time Child Caregiver – Philadelphia, PA 19147

A family in the Center City/Bella Vista area of Philadelphia, PA 19147 is seeking a patient and engaging caregiver for their 11-year-old child with developmental needs. This is a short-term, flexible summer position ideal for someone who enjoys working with older children and can create a fun, supportive environment both at home and outdoors.

Schedule:

• 1–2 days per week, 5–8 hours per day
• Flexible scheduling (examples include 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for one day, or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM for two days)
• Short-Term Schedule: June 12, 2026 through the beginning of September

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care for an 11-year-old with developmental needs
• Prepare and serve lunch and snacks
• Engage in age-appropriate activities at home
• Plan outdoor activities such as trips to local parks, biking, and outings (weather permitting)

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with developmental needs preferred 
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:

• $20–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience, particularly with children with developmental needs)
