Part-Time Senior Caregiver – Naperville, IL

A family in Naperville, IL 60564 is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide ongoing support for an elderly loved one in the home. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility support, and health-related tasks while helping maintain a safe and respectful environment. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. 

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Potential for additional hours for the right candidate

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Supportive family environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing and showering 2–3 times per week
• Provide support with dressing and grooming as needed
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers
• Encourage light exercise and activity
• Empty PleurX drain three times per week
• Light tidying related to caregiving activities
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment

Requirements:

• CNA preferred or experienced caregiver with a senior care background
• Experience assisting with bathing, personal care, and mobility support
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to and from work
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with drains, wound care, or similar medical support a plus

Compensation:

• $24–$26 per hour (commensurate with experience)
