Part Time Nanny – Chicago, IL

A family in Chicago, IL 60641 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny for their two children, ages 2 and 7 years old.

Schedule:

Start Date:Aug 4, 2026
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM CT (12 hours/week)
**Opportunity for additional babysitting, weekend, overnight, and future hours

Family Specifications:

Smoke free home
Pet free home

Responsibilities:

School pickup and transportation to activities/home
Supervision, play, and age-appropriate activities
Prepare healthy snacks and simple dinners (food allergy aware)
Evening and bedtime routines
Light child-related housekeeping (kitchen and common areas used during the shift)
Ensure the children's safety and well-being

Requirements:

Previous professional childcare experience required
First Aid/CPR certifications required
Must be able to reliably commute with a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle capable of transporting two children
Proactive, dependable, trustworthy, and punctual demeanor

Preferred:

Open to occasional overnight and weekend care is a plus

Compensation:

$26 - $28/hour
Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate
