Nanny & Transportation – Castro Valley/Hayward, CA

A family in the Castro Valley/Hayward area is seeking a dependable and experienced caregiver to provide weekday transportation for their toddler to and from daycare. While transportation is the primary need, the family is open to offering additional childcare hours before or after daycare to create a more consistent part-time schedule for the right candidate.

Schedule:

Start Date: ASAP

Monday–Thursday

• Approximately 7:0 AM pickup from the family's home in Castro Valley
• Transport toddler to daycare in Hayward
• Afternoon pickup from daycare before 5:30 PM and transportation home

Friday

• Daycare begins at 7:30 AM
• Morning childcare before daycare drop-off
• Afternoon pickup from daycare before 5:00 PM and transportation home

The family is flexible and willing to add childcare hours before or after daycare if a caregiver requires a minimum number of weekly hours.

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport toddler between home and daycare
• Provide attentive care during Friday morning hours before daycare
• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and reliable routine
• Additional childcare responsibilities may be added if mutually desired

Requirements:

• Experience caring for toddlers
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle
• Dependable, punctual, and excellent communication skills

 

Compensation:

• $32–$35 per hour, depending on experience
