Housekeeper/Nanny – Capitola, CA 

A family in Capitola, CA 95010 is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper with infant care experience to provide long-term, biweekly household support. While housekeeping is the primary responsibility, the family is also hoping to build a relationship with someone who can provide occasional backup childcare in the future as their infant grows and transitions into daycare.

Schedule:

• Biweekly, up to 8 hours per visit
• The family is open to weekly support for one day per week if preferred by the right candidate.
• Start Date: August 1st or later

Family Environment:

• Smoke-free home
• Approximately 1,100 sq. ft. home (2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms)
• One friendly, medium-sized non-shedding dog

Responsibilities:

• Deep cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the home
• Laundry and household organization as needed
• Meal preparation or light cooking preferred, but not required
• Build rapport with the family's infant to provide occasional backup childcare when needed in the future
• Provide a warm, dependable presence for the family over the long term

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping experience required
• Experience caring for infants
• Comfortable around dogs
• Reliable and trustworthy
• English required
• Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required

Compensation:

• $150–$180 per day, depending on experience
